MongoDB & AWS - Seattle
Thank You to the Emerald City of Seattle and to MongoDB!
In the penthouse one of the most exclusive restaurants in the city overlooking the beautiful Lake Union. MongoDB with Amazon Web Services (AWS) hosted over 20 Technology Leaders at the Canlis restaurant to discuss: Harnessing AI and Scaling Innovation.
The evening started in the private penthouse room for a networking hour filled with Champagne, cocktails, canapés & conversation as everyone got to meet each other.
Everyone then took to their seats to hear and take part in a very interactive fireside chat between Pete Johnson, Field CTO, AI at MongoDB & Welly Siauw, Worldwide Principal Partner Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services (AWS). Thank you so much guys!
After plenty of questions from the crowd the conversations then carried on over a delicious multi course dinner where the discussion points were:
• How can we or are we planning to align AI initiatives with core business goals, and what practical steps should we take to filter the hype for strategic value? What is realistic and what is hype at this point?
• How can enterprises effectively manage unstructured, dynamic data and cultivate strong data foundations-including addressing related risks like data security and bias-to fuel powerful AI applications?
• How is AI re-imagining business models today while we look ahead to the next wave of AI innovation? (3-5 years). What key advancements should leaders watch out for, and how can we position our organizations to stay ahead of the competitive curve while effectively managing ethical and regulatory risks?
As dessert hit the table our three great table champions Shelby Ruff, Winston Chiang & Emanuele Valeriano done a fantastic job in wrapping up the key take aways from their table discussions. Thank you so much!
Some post dinner drinks were had before everyone headed home!
I want to thank everyone who attended and made it a great evening of conversation but a special thank you to Pete Johnson, Chris Irish, Rama Gabbita, Welly Siauw & Caroline Van Fossan for being the best hosts we could have asked for!
